Hello all.
I went to see the Skeleton Key last night with a group of friends (Jane, Holly, and Shannon), and I'll tell ya; that has to be one of the best movies I have seen in a while. It had everything I think a scary movie needed: a plot that kept you guessing (o goodness, it had that), a plot where you thought you knew what was going to happen but then something totally different happens (That was cool), and a twist ending (yea, it definately had that). I was not expecting what happened at the end of that movie, to happen. It was so cool though. Altogether, it was a good movie, and I enjoyed it.

Escaping from that subject...
My life is still going well. My grades are good (so far). The Chess club is going well (I know i've already said that, but I still am excited), and I have lots of good friends to hang out with.

That's all, you can stop reading now because I am finished with this post, and if you continue to read this to the end of this sentence, then you have just waisted about 13 seconds of your life.

Hey Hey!!!
The Chess club at Hopewood has officially begun. I have 18 (oh yea!) people that signed up for it. It's awesome. Most ppl think Chess Club is boring b/c they think all we do is sit around a play chess the whole time, but for me it's fun, and i know for others it is fun as well. We have people of all ages and skill levels. The most experienced is yours truly, who has been playing for 14 years., and then we have a girl who I just taught like 2 days ago. She is doing very well considering. I got 2 new sign ups today. I am really exctited about it, and I know others are as well.

For a change of pace and talking about something not Chess related...
I am having a very good school year. Although I am no longer going to Grace Community (except when a friend of mine takes me), I am still having fun at the church that my family and a friend of the family started. I am learning a lot at Hopewood about life and what The Bible has to say about different things in a teenagers life. It's really interesting, and I am enjoying it thouroughly. This school year started out crummy, and now it is turning out to be a wonderful time.

Peace out...

Greetings all. I am having a wonderful school year. It still feels really wierd not being able to see everyone in the school almost all at the same time. I only see my friends from other grades during lunch and between classes. I mean I like that Hopewood has grown and moved into the new building where it can grow more, but I don't like the fact that Hopewood is becoming more and more like "real school". I liked the small closeness that we had at Burton Plaza. And I'm not saying I don't like it at Grace Street, I just miss the closeness.

O well, changing subjects a bit...
Chess club at Hopewood will, hopefully, start within the past week or two. I am really wanting a Chess club and already have a sign up sheet filled out, and I have like 10 people that want to join.

Another Change of subjects...
I am reading (or trying to read) the rest of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series. I want to finish them, but I can't seem to get into them.

O well, that's all I have to write about as of today. C - YA

I am sorry I have not been posting. Just a lot of stuff has been going on since school started back. Hopewood is cool this year, but it has grown so much. Although I liked it in Burton Plaza, It is still good at Grace street. I love all of my teachers. I have Mrs. G for Bible first, and then again for Mathematics. Afterwards I have Mrs. Lavey for Science and English. (Mrs. Lavey is cool.) Then lunch, and after lunch I have Lavey again for History. Then it depends on which day it is, but I have either Art with Mrs. Burton, PE with Amy, or Spanish with Amy. Amy is a good teacher : ).

I just really hope I get all my credits for this year. I really do.
